What I've been up to

Finally I have a chance to sit down and write a post! Life's been hectic to say the least. You may or may not have read about my new business venture (if not, off you go and have a read!) So after weeks of reno's, moving our salon into a new building and stocking the new shop, things are (almost) all done and the new shop Modern Vintage has opened it's doors!
We have just finished up after our 3rd day open, and things are going great guns so far. Working there is like the sweetest breath of fresh air to me after working in a hairdressing salon for 8 years. I'm still there too, but only for 2 days a week, and I think I will look forward to seeing my girls and chatting to clients.

My parents did a fantastic job with the renovations and the new salon and shop have come up a treat! It took 4 long days to put up the new panelling and paint throughout, then another 4 to furnish and get looking just right.

A change really is as good as a holiday, especially when that change means you'll be taking 'business trips' to China every few months! Love my life!
